Our signature spice blend employs the use of a variety of freshly crushed, traditional aromatics and spices that give our extensive range of vegetarian and meat dishes their delicious kick.

Bob Arora is one of the North East’s most respected chefs and was a regular diner at Sachins before taking over the restaurant in 2000, bringing both his passion and experience to the table. From the start, Bob wanted to offer Newcastle diners something new and different on the famous Forth Banks. Inspired by the traditional Punjabi dishes passed down for generations, Bob has since cultivated an eclectic menu rich in heritage and in flavour.

Located on the historic Forth Banks of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sachins was founded over forty years ago and has become renowned for offering the finest Punjabi cuisine in the city. Both the interior and exterior have retained several original features while boasting stunning, exotic murals and a modern dining experience.
